1. Who we are
Calendar Power Tools is a RoyGroundUp project that provides browser-based tools for searching, previewing and bulk-editing Google Calendar events. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Calendar Power Tools website, browser extension and related services.
2. Google user data we access
With your explicit authorization, Calendar Power Tools may request access to your Google Calendar event data and your list of calendars. This access is used only to provide the features you request, such as searching events, previewing proposed changes, applying bulk edits, moving events between calendars, and supporting transaction history or Undo.
Calendar Power Tools requests only the Google permissions reasonably necessary for these features. You can revoke the application's access at any time through your Google Account security settings.
3. How Google user data is used
Google Calendar data is used solely to provide user-requested Calendar Power Tools functionality. We do not use Google Calendar event contents for advertising, profiling, sale, or training generalized artificial-intelligence models.
4. Storage and transmission of Calendar content
The core product is designed so Calendar event contents are processed locally in the browser extension and transmitted directly between the user's browser and Google Calendar APIs. Calendar Power Tools does not require its own servers to store event titles, descriptions, attendee lists, locations or other event contents in order to provide the core editing workflow.
The extension may store limited working data locally on the user's device, such as cached search results, recent transaction information, selected events, settings or recovery data, so that the product can provide continuity and Undo features. Local browser storage remains on the user's device unless the browser itself synchronizes or removes it.
5. Account, licensing and payment data
When paid plans become available, we may store limited account and entitlement information such as an account identifier, email address, subscription status, plan, entitlement expiry, billing provider customer identifier, and transaction references. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not intended to be stored by Calendar Power Tools.
6. Website and diagnostics data
We may process limited technical data needed for security, reliability and product improvement, such as browser type, extension version, error diagnostics, aggregated feature usage, and request metadata. We aim to avoid collecting Calendar content as analytics data.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell Google user data. We may use service providers for essential infrastructure such as hosting, authentication, billing, email delivery or error monitoring. These providers may process only the minimum data necessary to provide those services and are not authorized by us to use Calendar content for their own advertising.
8. Data retention
We retain account, entitlement and operational records only as long as reasonably necessary for providing the service, meeting legal obligations, preventing abuse, resolving disputes and maintaining financial records. Local extension data can generally be removed by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but our architecture is intentionally designed to minimize server-side exposure to Calendar contents.
10. Your choices
You can stop using Calendar Power Tools at any time, revoke Google access through your Google Account, uninstall the extension, and contact us regarding account or privacy questions. Where applicable, you may request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and operational requirements.
11. Google API Services User Data Policy
Calendar Power Tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Calendar Power Tools changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
